Featuring remarks from these fantastic leaders…
Texas Governor Greg Abbott
Named “Best Governor in the Nation” in 2020, Governor Greg Abbott is building upon his record as a strong conservative leader who fights to preserve Texas values and ensure the Lone Star State remains the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
Re-elected to a third term in 2022, Governor Abbott is working tirelessly to build the Texas of tomorrow. He was first elected as the 48 th Governor of Texas in 2014. Before being elected Governor, he was the 50 th and longest-serving Attorney General in Texas History. He also served as a Justice on the Supreme Court of Texas and as a State District Judge in Harris County.
Governor Abbott has a bold vision for an even stronger Texas of tomorrow that will create more jobs and economic opportunity, educate the leaders of the next generation, protect individual liberties, restore parental rights in education, and secure our southern border in the face of federal inaction.
Governor Abbott is married to Cecilia, a former teacher and principal, who is the first Hispanic First Lady of Texas. They have been married since 1981, and have one daughter, Audrey, who works in the finance industry. They are also the proud dog parents of three Golden Retrievers, Peaches, Pancake, and Biscuit.
Terry Schilling
Terry Schilling is the president of American Principles Project. He is responsible for developing and implementing APP’s strategy, messaging and political activity at the state and federal levels. Since taking the reins at APP, Terry has overseen its growth into the premier national organization defending the family in politics. In 2021, he founded APP’s Big Family initiative, which aims to make the family into the most powerful special interest group in Washington, D.C. Through APP’s super PAC, he has also directed numerous election efforts, including campaigns to make defending women’s sports and protecting parental rights in education key Republican issues.
In the past, Terry worked for several pro-family political leaders like Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS), Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), and various state and local candidates. Before joining APP, Terry’s proudest accomplishment was managing the successful campaign of his father, former Congressman Bobby Schilling, for U.S. Congress in 2010. He is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, an alumnus of the Claremont Institute’s Lincoln Fellowship, and, most importantly, the proud father of seven wonderful children. He, his wife Katie, and their family live in Virginia.
Dr. Bobby Eberle
Currently hosts the 13-Minute News Hour. As a recognized leader in conservative politics, he has been profiled in both USA Today and Insight Magazine. His opinion pieces have been featured in numerous publications including the Washington Times, Human Events, FoxNews.com, and the Houston Chronicle.
In 2022, Dr. Eberle was elected as the Chairman of the Fort Bend County Republican Party. Through his organizational and leadership skills, Fort Bend County Republicans scored their first countywide election victories since 2016. Fort Bend County is ranked as the most diverse county in the state of Texas, and in the top 3 in the nation. The efforts at turning Fort Bend County have earned Eberle respect and recognition from around the state of Texas.
Congressman Troy Nehls
Proudly represents the 22nd Congressional District of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives. Texas’ 22nd Congressional District includes portions of Fort Bend, Brazoria, and Harris counties. Prior to his election to Congress, Troy served our district for nearly 30 years in law enforcement and served our country 21 years in the US Army Reserve.
In 1994, Troy began his law enforcement service with Fort Bend ISD. He spent the next twenty-six years serving Fort Bend County in various law enforcement roles. From 2004 to 2012, he served two terms as the elected Constable for Ft. Bend County Pct. 4. After two successful terms as Constable, Troy was elected as Fort Bend County Sheriff in 2012. In 2016, Troy was re-elected and completed his second term in December 2020.
