Chairman Bobby Eberle Statement on the Supreme Court’s Ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health

SUGAR LAND, TX — Fort Bend County Republican Party Chairman Bobby Eberle today released a statement following the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health which overturned Roe v. Wade.  This ruling returns power to the states to protect each and every innocent human life.

“My heart goes out to all those who fought for almost five decades to make this day possible, and I’m so thankful for all the lives that will be saved as a result of this decision.

“Preserving the sanctity of life is crucial to our nation, and it is no wonder that life was the first right mentioned by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence.  I applaud the Supreme Court’s decision in recognizing that abortion is a state issue which should be decided by the people and not the federal government or the courts.”
