We are honored to announce that David Savage has been selected as a National Delegate for the 2024 Republican National Convention. David’s extensive professional experience, dedication to public service, and commitment to Republican values make him an exceptional representative for Fort Bend County.
A Distinguished Career and Commitment to Public Service
David Savage is currently in his fourth year of a five-year governor’s appointment to the Brazos River Authority (BRA) as a Board Director. In this role, he serves as Chairman of the Security Committee and participates on the Property Management Committee. David also represents the BRA at statewide conferences hosted by the Texas Water Development Board and Texas Water Conservation Association, highlighting his commitment to water conservation and management in Texas.
In addition to his role with the BRA, David was recently elected as Chairman of the Board for the newly created Fort Bend County Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 3. This position allows him to play a critical role in using public financing tools to develop needed infrastructure within the specified zone, further contributing to the growth and development of Fort Bend County.
Extensive Professional Experience
David’s professional background is marked by a series of leadership roles in various industries. Prior to his appointment at the BRA, he served as Senior Director Contracts & Commercial at Team Industrial Services. In this capacity, he built and led an enterprise account directors’ organization, managed all proposal activities, contract administration functions, customer audits, and pricing for the ERP system.
Over his impressive 31-year career at Nalco Chemical Company, which underwent multiple ownership changes to become Nalco Champion, an Ecolab Company, David held several key management positions. These included District Manager, North America Sales Manager, Global Strategic Account Manager, and Area Vice President of Downstream Global Corporate Accounts. His career began with Nalco in 1987 after five years as a Civil Engineering Consultant, during which he earned his Professional Engineer’s license.
David’s expertise and leadership extended to his involvement with the Petrochemicals Committee of the American Fuels & Petrochemicals Manufacturers and the American Chemistry Council. He was also an active member of the Strategic Account Management Association from 2001 to 2018 and was among the first to receive Certification as a CSAM in 2014.
Academic and Personal Life
David graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1982. He and his wife Kimberly are active members of Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, Texas, where they contribute to their community’s spiritual and social wellbeing.

He serves as a precinct chair for the Fort Bend County Republican Party, where his leadership and commitment to Republican principles are well recognized. His selection as a National Delegate is a testament to his dedication to promoting Republican values and his active participation in the political process.
