We are proud to announce that Evelyn Montalvo has been selected as a National Elector for the 2024 Presidential Election. Evelyn’s dedication to our community and unwavering commitment to election integrity and Republican values make her an outstanding representative for Fort Bend County.

 A Lifelong Commitment to Service

Evelyn Montalvo has been a resident of Fort Bend County for 34 years. Her professional career is marked by 31 years of dedicated service as a registered nurse at the Houston Veteran’s Hospital, where she retired with a distinguished record of care and commitment to our veterans.

Upon retiring, Evelyn quickly became involved in political activism, starting at the grassroots level. Her first involvement in an election was in 2008, and since then, she has served in every election for the past 16 years, contributing in various capacities and demonstrating her dedication to ensuring fair and transparent elections.

Leadership in Election Integrity

Evelyn’s leadership in election integrity is particularly noteworthy. Since 2010, she has been actively involved in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of voter rolls. As the county leader for True the Vote, she focused on meticulous research and verification of voter information. Her role as Chair of State Representative Rick Miller’s District Advisory Team on Elections in 2014 further solidified her expertise and influence in this critical area.

Her ongoing commitment to election integrity led her to chair the Election Integrity Committee for the Fort Bend County GOP, where she played a pivotal role in advancing legislation. Under her leadership, the committee successfully proposed and promoted SB 545, a significant bill that ensures the removal of deceased individuals from voter rolls, thereby enhancing the integrity of our elections.

 Active Participation and Community Leadership

Evelyn has been a precinct chair since 2013, actively engaging with various political and community groups. She served as Treasurer for the Spirit of Freedom Republican Women and later as Program Director for the Fort Bend County Republican Patriot’s Club. Currently, she holds the position of VP of Legislation with the Republican Women’s Club of Katy, continuing her advocacy for strong Republican values and policies.

In addition to her formal roles, Evelyn has been a tireless campaign volunteer. She is particularly proud of her work for the Trump campaign in 2020. When no road signs had been placed for the campaign in Fort Bend County, she mobilized her network and raised nearly $2400 within 48 hours to print and distribute large road signs. Her initiative also led to the procurement and distribution of 350 Trump yard signs through popup tent events, turning community support into a successful outreach and fundraising endeavor.

 Recognized for Her Contributions

Evelyn’s exceptional volunteerism was recognized in 2023 when she was voted Volunteer of the Year at the Lincoln-Reagan Dinner (LRD). Her contributions extend beyond election campaigns; she is also a member of the newly formed Taxpayers Coalition in Fort Bend County. This coalition successfully advocated for the adoption of Plank 77 into the current platform, addressing Public Facility Corporations (PFCs) and their spending practices without taxpayer approval.

 Honoring Her Dedication

Evelyn’s commitment to the Republican Party and her community is unwavering. She honors and respects President Donald J. Trump and expresses that casting an electoral vote for him in the upcoming election will be the honor of her lifetime. Her service exemplifies the dedication and values that make Fort Bend County a strong and vibrant community.

Join us in celebrating Evelyn Montalvo’s selection as a National Elector. Her story of service, dedication, and leadership is an inspiration to us all. Evelyn’s work underscores the importance of community involvement and the impact one dedicated individual can have in promoting integrity, fairness, and Republican values.
